Black Dragon Canyon : Black Dragon Canyon is in the San Rafael Swell, just north of I70 west of Green River, UT. To get there, pull off I70 at the unmarked pulloff before the rest stop heading up the hill into the swell. Then you go through a BLM gate and you're in.

Fantasy Canyon : Fantasy Canyon is located south-west of Vernal, UT. It's located in a scenic, and active, oil & gas operation. There are hundreds of well heads around, lots of truck traffic... pretty much what you'd expect from a mining operation on the moon. The formations remind me of The Dark Crystal or H.R. Giger. It's all really cool, the formations are pretty solid, the sand packed around them crumbles really easily. Really intricate formations, all kinds of odd shapes. It's too bad it was so overcast when I was there, a little color would have been good.

Echo Park : Echo Park is located inside Dinosaur National Monument, it's a great secluded area where the Green River bends around Steamboat Rock at the center of an opening in the sheer cliff wals.
